Oxford Stadium make a second attempt to stage the Pattinson Construction Trafalgar Puppy Cup heats tonight following last weekend's postponement due to the heavy snow.

The connections of all the runners have been very co-operative over the disappointment which has pleased the Oxford management.

There was little chance of last Saturday's meeting going ahead after the snow had turned to ice specially down the back straight where lumps of sand were frozen solid and obviously dangerous.

The white and black dog, who finished third in the Oaks at Wimbledon in December, ran a good trial here and will take some beating in the second heat tonight.
