Chinnor will look to recreate one of their finest results when they visit National 3 South high-fliers Rosslyn Park on Saturday.
Two seasons ago, Chinnor were really struggling in their first National League campaign, but managed to win 13-12 at the renowned club’s Priory Lane ground.
With Park lying third in the table, a repeat performance would be an even greater achievement.
Chinnor coach Jason Bowers, who names an unchanged squad, said: “It will be tough.
“They are a good side, but last time we went there in a similar position, and managed to get a win, which was my first as Chinnor coach.
“We’ll be going there full of confidence.
“We would like to have played last Saturday, but we’ve trained well this week and are looking forward to it.”
Henley Hawks make their debut trip to Canterbury, with lock Steve Green, plus versatile backs Angelo Flammia and Jack Shaylor all back in the squad.
Shaylor returns after being unavailable for three months, and will provide cover at wing and scrum half.
After a good start to the campaign, Henley are now just four points ahead of Canterbury in eighth.
Oxford Harlequins can climb off the bottom of South West 1 for the first time since September by defeating Cleve at home tomorrow.
Coach John Brodley has selected an unchanged back-line for the third successive game as Quins look to turn over the side immediately above them.
As for getting off the bottom, Brodley said: “Had we played Exmouth last week, the same would have been true.
“The players should be confident after winning their last two matches.
“We’ve certainly got a settled squad, although there is still room for anyone who impresses in the seconds.”
Wallingford are missing several key players for their South West 2 East clash at home to promotion-chasing Cheltenham.
No 8 Ian Jeffrey and centre Henry Pooler join wing Richard Turner on the injury list, while fly half Jackson Sayce is away.
Paul Lewis starts at No 8, with Pete Strang coming in at fly half, plus Gary Bridges and Elliot Simons on the wings.
“We are a bit stretched at the moment, but we fancy ourselves at home with the good form we’ve shown,” said coach Chris Norrington.
“We’d like to upset another of the big boys.”
Like many fixtures, the game may be in doubt from waterlogging after the snow melted.
Norrington said: “There is water on the pitch at the moment, so there is a pitch inspection on Friday.”
Witney bid to close in on fourth spot in Southern Counties North when they visit Windsor.
