Director of rugby Jason Forster is urging Henley Hawks to bounce back from their mid-season slump.
Henley have lost their last four games, including three in National 3 South, and have now drifted into mid-table.
Forster said: “I do not want to be perceived to be negative, but I expect passion, commitment, desire and pride to be a gimme in the Henley shirt.
“It does seem that the high standards the boys and the coaches set before Christmas have gone missing at present.
“However the game is also about how to win ugly, knowing how to win, winning your own ball in the set pieces and having a good kicking game.
“All these qualities were evident before Christmas and I am sure that they will be back with us soon as we go full steam ahead to push our way up the table.
“I keep telling the boys the season was not over in December. All the effort before then needs to be upped even more to secure a creditable end to the season.
“We do not want to see the early season work thrown away – I am sure we won't.”
