Abingdon Ambler Duncan Talbot, was in record-breaking form when competing in the Southern Counties Veteran Indoor Championships at Picketts Lock, London.
Talbot won the vet 55s 60m hurdles in 11.33secs to beat the previous Oxon and Amblers record.
He also won the high jump with a superb leap of 1.53m.
In doing so, he set a Southern Counties and Oxon age group record at both indoor and outdoor.
White Horse Harrier Richard Jegou continued his good form with a personal best performance in the vet 60 shot at the Lee Valley Indoor Centre.
He finished second with a throw of 11.15m, breaking the 11-metre barrier for the first time as a vet 60.
- MARA Yamauchi clocked a personal best of 1.08.29 at the Marugame Half Marathon, defeating clubmate Yuri Kano by 53 seconds to consolidate her position at third on the British all-time list.
