Didcot Conservative Club moved nine points clear at the top of Section 1 in the Johnsons Buildbase Oxford & District League after a 5-0 demolition of Gladiators A, writes PETE EWINS.
Dennis Atkins started the ball rolling, winning the opening leg with a score of 12,950, including a break of 8,940.
Dave Tooke was also in good form, taking the second game with a score of 14,020 (breaks 9,730 and 5,290).
Jenny Abbott celebrated her England Ladies call up by making it 3-0 with a win over Dave Jarman.
She compiled a break of 7,030 in her 7,560-2,040 success.
Stuart Florey (8,520) and Sue Atkins (6,080) completed the whitewash.
Second-placed Masons A beat Berinsfield A 4-1.
Alan Lowe (4,460) picked up his tenth win of the season, while Mick Murphy (5,640, break 5,030), Brian Rose (2,950) and Dave Rose (4,970) were also victorious.
Dave Lyne prevented the whitewash by beating Martyn Wood.
Nelson B went down 4-1 to their own A side.
Kevin Godfrey scored 10,550 to take the first game then Steven Sheard (13,670) and Mark Trafford (7,170) made it 3-0.
Keith Sheard knocked up 10,900 in his fightback win against Ian Gordon.
Dave Bartlett won a consolation point for the B side with a 5,910, 2-540 win over Pauline Withey.
Premier leaders Horse & Harrow won 4-1 at Vikings.
Maxi McDonnell put the leaders in front, beating Ian Moss 5,790-1,740 after Moss lost an opening break of 3,900.
Alan Oliver made it 1-1 with victory over John Scoones.
Paul Lawson (7,970) Gary Johnson (13,110, break 9,800) and Ian Moquet (12,180, break 7,900) took the next three games for a priceless victory.
