Oxford City Ladies are on the up – and have unveiled a plan to reach the top of women’s football within five years.
The club are mid-table in the South West Women’s Combination (Step 3) which is just two divisions below the Women’s Premier League.
With a reserve and third team also flourishing, City are setting their sights high, hoping to take on the giants of the women’s game.
Their ambitious plans coincide with a £2m development scheduled this year to take place alongside their Court Place Farm stadium to provide a full-size artificial football pitch together with six netball courts.
Any ambitious players or coaches interested in joining Oxford City should call Peter Burden on 07900 832429.
Meanwhile, City have received a new kit from sponsors Phillips Tyres, which they are pictured modelling above.
