Premier Section leaders Original Swan A eased to a 6-3 win against Shears.
Terry Woods, Ray Pape and Tim Tricker (180) gave Swan a 3-0 advantage, before Shears hit back through Preben Krabben and Kevin Wilkins (180).
The visitors won the last singles match to lead 4-2 with a victory from Nick Cobb and a 2-1 pairs success earning the Swan a 6-3 victory.
Littlemore British Legion hammered Cowley Workers 7-2.
Victories from Peter Kinch, Nick Baldwin, Alan Eckart (180), Darryl Ingram and Pete Hermon gave Littlemore a 5-0 winning lead.
Wayland Honour beat Pete Jones to pull one back for Cowley.
The Legion wrapped it up with a 2-1 pairs win.
Rose Hill Community Centre kept up their Section 2 title challenge with an 8-1 demolition of Crown Inn.
It means Rose Hill trail leaders Chequers Inn by just a point after they suffered a shock 5-4 defeat at North Oxford Conservative Club.
