Didcot rally co-driver Jonathan Sargeant travels to the Forest of Dean, for the first round of the British Trials and Rally Drivers Association (BTRDA) this Saturday.
It will be the first event for Sargeant (pictured) with new driver, Rob Price, with whom he is aiming to win their class in the eight-round championship.
Price, 40, from Warwick, had great success in 2007 driving a Peugeot 205, and spent last year developing the red Corsa.
Sargeant, 33, is fairly new to the sport, having joined Oxford Motor Club only in 2007.
“I have been watching rallies for years, but never thought I could take part,” he said.
“This all changed when I joined Oxford Motor Club, who have been fantastic in supporting me.”
Last year saw, his co-driving earned him two class wins on rallies in Aldershot and the Lake District.
“There is a lot of travelling involved, but that is all part of the adventure”, he said.
