Bicester captain Anthony Lewis is confident they can pull away from the bottom of Southern Counties North.
Having won promotion last season, Bicester have struggled this campaign, winning just three league games.
But they have a game in hand and are just two points off ninth in a 12-team division.
Lewis said: “We are going to target all our home games. We have still got Aylesbury and Grove to come to us.
“Our fitness levels are fine. It is all about getting the first win and the confidence will come from that.”
Meanwhile, Bicester supporters may have been a little bemused at flanker Dan Spencer’s half-time substitution against Chipping Norton.
Spencer had a strong first half, and wasn’t carrying an injury, but he had to go to work!
The forward works in the Helly Hansen shop at Bicester Village, but had not been able to secure ‘release’ for the full 80 minutes.
Hopefully for Bicester, Spencer will have better luck in future weeks.
