OXFORD City could be without their first-choice goalkeeper Ryan Harrison for several weeks with a groin injury.

The keeper has been struggling with the problem for a number of weeks, but last Tuesday during their FA Trophy game against Dartford, the problem worsened.

He could be replaced by Milan Barisic, the reserves’ keeper.

“It’s a blow to lose Ryan,” said boss Justin Merritt.

“He commands his area well. He is a good shot-stopper and distributes well.

“He has all the attributes to be a top goalkeeper.”

Meanwhile, City have signed defender Lewis Christan on loan from Wycombe and he could make his debut against Chippenham in the British Gas Business Soutehrn League Premier Division.

North Leigh manager Mark Gee has lashed the match referee after he sent off Karl Dodds during Saturday’s 4-2 defeat against Bridgwater Town.

“It was crazy,” said Gee. “Both players went into a 50-50 challenge and Karl got the ball and the referee has sent him off.

“But there’s nothing I can do. You just have to bit your lip and get on with it."
