OXFORD City crashed out of the FA Trophy with a 4-2 defeat by Dartford in their second qualifying round replay at Court Place Farm last night. Dartford had already hit the bar before City went ahead in the 13th minute through James Faulkner. But the visitors were level seven minutes later when Saturday’s hat-trick hero, Cody MacDonald, raced through the City defence before firing home. Jamie Coyle hit Dartford’s second nine minutes later after Ryan Harrison blocked the first effort. City fell 3-1 behind two minutes before the break when Lee Noble rifled home. MacDonald shot past Harrison on the hour for his second to kill City off. City skipper James Saulsbury scored from the penalty spot with three minutes left, but the damage had already been done.
