He clocked an impressive time of 1hr 4mins 9 secs.
Teammates Dave Parsons and Allan Matthews finished second and third respectively in the vet 60 class, recording 1.05.53 and 1.07.16.
Woodstock Harrier Mike Shipway won the vet 65 category in a time of 1.10.41.
