Oxford City will be looking to complete the job when they face Dartford in their FA Trophy second qualifying round replay at Court Place Farm on Tuesday night.
City drew 3-3 at Dartford on Saturday in atrocious conditions, and manager Justin Merritt was delighted with his team’s performance.
He said: “Our attacking play was possibly the best we’ve seen all season. Their keeper made a few fantastic saves, and we could easily have won at the first attempt.”
Craig Faulonbridge returns to the squad after serving a one-match ban.
The winners will travel to Blue Square South side St Albans City in the third qualifying round on Saturday, November 22.
