Beaconsfield 4 (Sear 4, Bubb 18, 55, Godwin 20)

North Leigh 3 (Reardon 24, McCabe 59, 73)

North Leigh's second-half comeback at Beaconsfield SYCOB in Division 1 South & West proved in vain.

Mark Gee’s side left themselves a mountain to climb after conceding three goals in the opening 20 minutes. Beaconsfield swiftly set about maintaining their unbeaten home record as Adrian Sear drilled home following a throw-in after just four minutes. North Leigh were then left reeling after conceding twice in two minutes, Bradley Bubb beating Lee Farrow from the edge of the area in the 18th minute, before Oliver Godwin glanced home a header. Ben Reardon pulled a goal back after 24 minutes as home keeper Nick Hart missed his clearance. It looked all over when Bubb made it 4-1 after 55 minutes, but four minutes later Andy McCabe pounced after Hart fumbled a corner. McCabe struck again in the 73rd minute after Reardon's run and blocked shot, but North Leigh were unable to force an equaliser as Beaconsfield held on.

North Leigh: Farrow, Helby (Threlfall 85), Cooper, Burnell, Huxley, Dodds, Jackson (Simms 60), McCabe, Hope, Reardon, Allen (Futcher 75).
