Oxford United’s Youth, Community and Education Department have just run a pilot E2E (Entry to Employment) course, which has involved basic IT training and football coaching, and it’s been such a success they’re running another one next week!
It’s common on these ten-week courses for students to drop out, but of the 15 on United’s course, all but one stayed to the finish.
“Because it was so good, we’ve now got the funding to run the same course again,” admitted United’s Study Support Centre Manager, Ed Duckham.
