Ben Whitehead's hat-trick set Vale of White Horse on the way to a 4-2 win over Aldershot & Farnborough in the English Schools' FA Under 15 Trophy second round at Milton United.
Vale recovered from the early shock of falling a goal behind in the second minute when Whitehead equalised two minutes later with a low shot into the bottom corner.
And he struck again after ten minutes with a cracking drive into the top corner from 25 yards.
Whitehead completed his hat-trick by scoring direct from a corner.
He then turned supplier for Vale's fourth midway through the second half, sending Oli Taylor clear to round the Aldershot keeper before netting.
Aldershot pulled a goal back when a reckless challenge resulted in a penalty, but it wasn't enough to prevent Vale clinching a third-round tie away to South London, who thrashed Ports- mouth 5-0.
Oxford crashed out with a 5-1 defeat at Halesowen & Stourbridge, the first-round conquerors of Banbury.
