A stunning opening of three goals in the first 13 minutes was enough to give Witney victory, despite a spirited Marlow fightback in Saturday's Premier Division game.

Jamie Mills set up Ben Thompson for the opener after just six minutes.

Three minutes later and it was 2-0 when debutant Ryan Curtin picked out an Wickens, side footed into the roof of the net.

It was soon 3-0 when another Curtin cross picked out Wickens, whose header was saved, only for Harry Burnley to nod home the rebound.

The visitors pulled a goal back when Jason Bowler curled a free-kick in off a post.

And Marlow were rewarded with another goal midway through the half when Daniel Pedley curled a shot into the corner, but Witney held on.

Almondsbury Tn 1 (Cai 2)

Ardley Utd 1 (Mason 12)

Ardley hit back from a goal down to grab a point at Almond- sbury.

Jing Cai fired home a speculative strike from 30 yards, which flew in to give the home side the lead after just two minutes.

But Ardley pulled level when Murray Nicholls curled the ball in for Danny Mason to head home.

Two minutes after the break, Adam Garner headed just wide from a corner, then Nicholls saw a shot rattle the bar, but they had to settle for a point.

Kidlington 1 (Deabill 35)

Shortwood Utd 2 (Smith 5, Hoskins 37)

A sloppy defending cost Kidlington dear as they slipped to another defeat.

The first goal came after only five minutes when, from a long throw, the ball found its way to Pete Smith, who got a faint touch.

As everyone stopped, the ball bounced twice before rolling over the line.

Jimmy Deabill levelled for Kidlington with a turn and shot from inside the six-yard box, but just two minutes later, Shortwood regained the lead.

Ben Pugh crossed for Andy Hoskins, who powered the ball past Gareth Tucker as he got away from three defenders.

Kidlington had more of the play after the break, but could not find a way through.

Shortwood could have had a third from the penalty spot, but Beng Ngwa's spot-kick was well saved by Tucker.

Bicester Tn 1 (Hemmings 75)

Pegasus Juniors 6(Gwynne 11, 76, Robins pen 50, pen 53, Kyberd og 29, Smith 76)

Bicester's sorry season was compounded with this heavy defeat by their fellow strugglers.

Simon Gwynne fired Pegasus in front, slotting home from six yards after a mix-up in the home defence.

James Kyberd headed into his own net to double the visitors' lead, then a couple of careless challenges led to two penalties, which Tony Robbins slotted home.

Bicester reduced the arrears with Tom Hemmings firing home from 20 yards, but Steve Smith restored Pegasus's four-goal lead straight from the restart.

Gwynne, looking offside, rounded off the scoring with No 6.

Shrivenham 6 (Whitbread 25, Flanagan 41, 75, Cox 52, 89, Sanders 65)

Abingdon Tn 1 (Jackson 68)

Abingdon held out for 25 minutes, but once they fell behind, there was only going to be one winner.

Craig Whitbread fired the home side in front, before Chris Flanagan curled the ball from from a free-kick to double the lead.

Chris Cox made it 3-0 just after the break, then Paul Sanders added No 4 just after the hour.

Abingdon pulled one back, courtesy of a Dwaine Jackson free-kick, but further strikes from Flanagan and Cox completed Abingdon's misery.

To rub salt into the wounds, Abingdon's Sam Webb was sent off for retaliating after a bad challenge on him.

Hook Norton 1 (Coleman 55)

Reading Tn 1 (Lewis 6, 75, Brooks 28, 60, 86)

Hooky's disappointing home form continued with a comprehensive defeat.

The visitors went in front when Graham Lewis found the right hand corner, before Ian Brooks doubled the lead just before the half-hour.

Joe Coleman reduced the arrears ten minutes after the break, but Brooks restored the two-goal lead soon after.

Lewis made it 4-1 on 75 minutes, before Brooks completed his hat-trick four minutes from time.
