TRAFALGAR Cup hero Drink Up Zorro can be the toast of punters in the £1,000 Blanchford Building Supplies Oxfordshire Gold Cup at Oxford Stadium tonight.
The swashbuckling Zorro was the pick of the winners in the qualifiers on Tuesday as Paul Sallis's Hall Green charge made every yard of the running to beat Blackmagic Jack by three and a half lengths.
With the red jacket tonight, he gets the nod to claim glory.
He will have to be at his best, though, as last year's winner, Barnfield Joe, will be all out to retain his crown.
Joe did little wrong on Tuesday, taking up the running from the second bend in his qualifier to come home a comfortable winner from Bandit Blue.
Oxford have high hopes with the Ian Wills-trained Silverduf Jet.
Jet saw off some fancied candidates in his qualifier with a very fast sectional as he skated home from Winston's Whisper in 27.01secs at the handsome price of 12-1.
Tonight's feature event is supported by six open races.
