Didcot Town boss Stuart Peace has praised his team's battling qualities and called for more of the same in Saturday's British Gas Business Southern League Division 1 South & West trip to Paulton Rovers.

It follows Monday night's game at high-flying Beaconsfield where they levelled late on in a 1-1 draw despite earlier having midfielder Richard Witt sent off for two yellow cards.

"Paulton is a difficult game because they are a good side. They are unbeaten at home," said Peace.

"We have to get some consistency in our play. We need to get a good run of four or five games going.

"We showed a lot of character to equalise late on against Beaconsfield who are a physical side."

Didcot will be without Witt as he is touring India as part of his work as head coach of Reading FC's Kickz youth development scheme.
