Chipping Norton director of rugby Andy Dawson has warned his players not to get slack despite winning four of their first five matches in Southern Counties North.
Dwason said: "Last year we were a lot better and they have to keep that level up.
"I wonder whether the guys are a little bit over confident.
"Last year they were running in tries for fun, but you have got to earn the right to score now."
Grove, who lost 23-12 at Chippy on Saturday, have not started as well, but manager Paul Maryon is not worried.
"We'll be ok," he said. "We've got some boys to come back from injury.
"We've not lost by a lot of points in any match.
"But we have always had a quiet ten minutes and that's the way teams tend to get over us."
