Headington Roadrunners' Jude Craft finished third in the senior ladies' race in the Apex Sports Chiltern Cross Country League at Cassiobury Park, Watford.

She was the first veteran 35 home in 24mins 22secs, with Bedford & County's Phillippa Prescott taking the honours in 23.52, and Milton Keynes's Lara Bromilow runner-up in 24.18.

Craft's clubmates, Diane Moore and Helen Barnes, finished seventh and ninth respectively in 24.53 and 25.15.

Banbury's Michelle Bartlett was first in the Division 2 senior ladies' race in 26.10.

She was also the first veteran 35 home.

In the men's race, Headington's Chris Dettmar was 13th in 29.28.

Radley's Rhys Glastonbury was 34th overall in 30.39, which gave him second place in Division 2 and first in the under 20 men's race.

George Miller led home a Radley one-two in the under 17 men's race, beating Stuart Ferguson.

Miller recorded 22.00, with Ferguson clocking 22.14.

With Philippe Essink finishing fifth in 23.02, Radley took the team honours.

Radley also took the individual honours in the under 13 boys race with Christian Von Eitzen claiming victory in 9.51.

Oxford City ace Melissa Hawtin finished a creditable third in the under 20/17 ladies race.

The 15-year-old was the first under 17 home across the 5km course in 18.49.

Clubmate Imogen Kempton finished fourth in the under 15 girls' race in 13.18.

Banbury's Connie McMillan took the Division 2 honours in the same age group in 13.21.
