Oxfordshire A made it two wins out of two in Group 2 of the English Short Mat Association Inter County Competition with a 25-15 victory over leaders Herefordshire A at Benson.
The 178-145 triumph on shots saw Oxon go second, a point behind Herefordshire.
Oxon's victory was built around a clean sweep of wins by the pairs of Jan and Barry Hayward, who came out on top 10-7 and 19-8, and Betty Dibley and Neil Pratley, who chalked up 17-7 and 15-7 victories.
John Cole also enjoyed a brace of wins in the singles, taking his games 14-11 and 20-5.
The four of Peter Collett, Kevin Howarth, Edith Knight and Rodney Knight also scored well with a 14-3 win and a 6-6 draw.
