Bicester came from behind to secure a 42-22 win at home to Southern Counties North basement boys Swindon.

They trailed 17-5 at half-time, but bagged five tries in the second period.

Bicester No 8 Martin Linstrom outpaced the defence for a score that fly half Tom Barnes converted.

They lost wing Alec Warriner to a dislocated shoulder on ten minutes, but his replacement, Paul Leverton, ran in try No 2.

Centre Ben Loosmore twice went over for Swindon before full back Jack Badminton was sin-binned.

Barnes's penalty made it 15-10, but Neil Maycock converted Matt Allen's try before the break.

Man-of-the-match Esava Rakacikaci scorched over for Bicester, but was soon yellow-carded.

Flanker Anthony Nightingale, skipper Anthony Lewis and Linstrom added further tries, with Barnes converting the latter.

Swindon's Dan Lock pulled one back, but Leverton notched again.

Witney returned to winning ways with a 24-13 success at home to Windsor.

Taking the first scrum against the head created the platform for Witney's opening try from Carl Strutt.

Windsor replied with a penalty, but Witney ended the half with Ed Mitchem converting Strutt's second try, which he had also created.

A converted try and a penalty gave Windsor the lead, but Witney had played too well to let this one slip.

Tries from James Monks and Phil Gouldie, with George Bibby converting the latter, sealed the win.
