Henley Hawks director of rugby Jason Forster was in far better mood after his side defeated Richmond 28-19 in National 3 South.
Forster had criticised his players last week for a below-par display despite winning at Worthing.
But this time, he said: "What I was pleased about the Hawks play was the maturity they showed when they conceded two tries in the first half.
"They did not panic and played well enough for Tommy Turner to keep them in touch with three penalties.
"At the start of the second half they scored three excellent tries against a side that they knew they would do well to defeat.
"I have encouraged them, however, to keep their feet firmly on the ground and prepare thoroughly for their next challenge – away to Rosslyn Park.”
