Howard Forinton signed up for a third spell at Banbury United on Monday night.
And the experienced striker is set to make his return debut against Gloucester City in the British Gas Business Southern League Premier Division at Spencer Stadium on Tuesday night.
Forinton rejoins from Conference North side Redditch United, who he signed for from Banbury in the summer of last year.
As well as his previous spell at the Spencer Stadium, he has also played for Birmingham City, Peterborough and Oxford City.
Banbury secretary Barry Worsley said: "It is a very good signing for us at the moment because we can't put the ball in the net and he can."

Meanwhile, Banbury will entertain Southern League Division 1 South & West side Burnham in the FA Trophy first qualifying round on Saturday, October 18.
Oxford City have been drawn at home to Division 1 Midlands side Aylesbury, while Abingdon United visit Division 1 South & West rivals AFC Totton.
North Leigh face the long trip to play Southern League Premier Division side Tiverton Town.
Witney United face a trip to Combined Counties League Premier Division outfit Sandhurst Town in the FA Vase second round on Saturday, November 15.
Clanfield travel to Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division outfit Chalfont St Peter, while Hook Norton host Vosper Thorneycroft.
