Second-half lapses cost Oxford Harlequins as they slipped to a 39-10 home defeat against Bracknell in South West 1.
Quins, who made eight changes from last week, trailed 8-0 at half-time, but were blitzed in the third quarter.
Ben Nowak's penalty put Bracknell ahead on eight minutes, while Quins lost centre Nick Sevier to a rib injury a minute later.
This meant Nick Goodger replacing Matt Young at flanker, and Young moving into the centre.
Quins almost created a try for wing Chris Williams, but just before the break they had scrum half Ralph Jones yellow-carded and saw Bracknell fly half Jervis Manupenu cross in the corner.
Fly half Kenny Sewell's penalty made it 8-3 on 42 minutes, but Bracknell had sealed victory by the hour mark with Manupenu, David Budge and Nick Shears scoing tries, Nowak converting two.
Quins' try came on 64 minutes from a move that began on their 22 and ended with centre Mark Forth setting up wing Ollie Campbell. Forth converted.
That made it 27-8, but Dan Ap-Dafydd and Shears struck again with Nowak converting the latter.
