Grove opened their win account for the season by defeating Bicester 24-8 at Cane Lane in Southern Counties North.
The sides were locked at 8-8 at half-time, but Grove made better use of the wind afterwards.
Debutant fly half Tom Barnes put Bicester ahead with an eighth-minute penalty.
Grove took the lead when scrum half Mark Boler squeezed over on the left from a quick penalty.
Bicester's best move of the day saw flanker Waisake Rokobati and scrum half half Nick Kenny prominent and ended with wing Leigh Rushworth outpacing the defence to score.
Grove equalised with a Roger Sevier penalty and he slotted three more after the break.
The hosts sealed it when replacement prop Jimmy Wallbridge drove over and Sevier converted.
Chipping Norton cruised to a 32-0 victory at Aylesbury.
Fly half Adam Smith's penalty gave the visitors the lead after nine minutes.
Full back Barry Nutt then showed great strength to cross the line, Smith adding the extras.
Craig Korszewski finished well in the corner after some slick handling from the backs, while flanker Matt Dawson crossed from a metre out.
Smith converted one and added a penalty.
Brin Walker killed the game as a contest midway through the second half with a try that Smith converted.
Dawson got a yellow card late on for a team offence, but Chippy still had time to waste two good try-scoring opportunities in the dying moments.
Witney's poor start to the season continued with an 18-12 defeat at Milton Keynes.
They were much hungrier in the second half, but the damage had already been done.
Milton Keynes opened the scoring with a penalty and added a fine try through their scrum half.
Ed Mitchem and Lewis Collins worked hard in attack, but Witney suffered another blow when fly half Henry Lamb limped off.
A converted try made it 15-0, but James Lamb fed Collins, who sped over from 40 metres.
The second half saw plenty of strong home defence as half chances came and went for Witney.
Milton Keynes added to their lead with a penalty.
With ten minutes left, Will Worrall's pass saw fellow flanker Wayne Caffekey crash over, Mitchem adding the conversion.
But the hosts closed it out.
