Oxfordshire went down 24-15 away to Surrey in their second Inter-Counties Championship Premier Division fixture at the weekend.
As in their opening match, when they drew 18-18 at home to Kent, missed doubles from the men's A team proved decisive The ladies' B team drew 3-3, with wins coming from lady-of-the-match Sandra Cox, Babs Manning and Cali Birch.
The men's B also drew 6-6 as Paul Farnes, Steve Skelton, John Fowler, man-of-the-match Pete Hall, Phil Addison and Peter Rouse recorded victories to leave it all square after Saturday's play.
It was a similar story the next day as the ladies' A team fought out a 3-3 draw.
Lady-of-the-match Karen Williams, Denise Pape and Rachael Dixon all won, Pape and Dixon beating England internationals.
The men's A could manage only three points through Kit Young, man-of-the-match Roger Haines and Nick Cobb as they went down 9-3.
This was disappointing, because Oxfordshire were first to a double on several occasions, but could not find the finish.
