Abingdon Town had to pull out all the stops before overcoming Division 1 West side Cirencester in a penalty shoot-out in the preliminary round of the SBJ Insurance Brokers Challenge Cup.
Town eventually won 3-2 on penalties after the game ended 3-3 on 90 minutes and then 4-4 following extra time.
They had led 2-0 and 3-1, but the visitors fought back, with striker Richard Miles scoring all four of their goals.
One of Abingdon's scorers was striker Tom Larman, while skipper Jason Thomas scored his first goal at Culham Road for nearly seven seasons to make it 3-1.
Miles replied twice – the second in the tenth minute of injury time – to take the tie to extra time. Cirencester went ahead for the first time in the 112th minute, but Carl Bloomfield crashed home his second of the game to make it 4-4.
In a dramatic shoot-out, Adam Wells, Thomas and Drew Fowler scored for Abingdon.

Highworth Tn 1 (Bennett 11)
A penalty five minutes by Danny Keen from time rescued a Premier Division point for Wantage after they had been on the receiving end of a bombardment in the first half.
With the wind behind them, Highworth took a 1-0 interval lead thanks to an 11th-minute goal from Matt Bennett.
The breakthrough for Wantage came when substitute Aaron Parfitt was brought down by Wayne Cleverly, with Keen making no mistake from the resultant penalty.

Ardley Utd 2 (Clarke 79, 81)
Ardley posted their fourth successive victory thanks to two late goals from Danny Clarke.
Despite dictating the play, it looked as through Ardley were going to be denied victory before an inswinging corner by Clarke was blown straight into the net, through the hands of the keeper.
Clarke doubled his tally minutes later, powering home from 30 yards.
