Letcombe suffered a shock first-round exit at the hands of North Berks League side Saxton Rovers on Saturday.
Saxton took the lead after two minutes when a clearance fell to Danny Parry, whose his fierce shot dipped into the top corner. The Hellenic League hosts dominated the remainder of the half and had a chance to equalise after Mark Denny was fouled inisde the penalty area.
However, Saxton kereper Darren Speyes saved Richard Claydon's spot-kick.
The wind became even stronger in the second half, when Letcombe had it in their faces.
Ben Parry headed home at the far post to make it 2-0 before Letcome replied. Adam Pendell set up Peter Horswell, who scored at the second attempt.
