Steve Roberts was victorious in Sutton Courtenay's Coronation Cup match, where 15 fished.
Roberts banked 38lb 10oz of bream, using a groundbait feeder and red maggot.
In second place, with 21.12.0 of bream was Mario Granito, while Malcolm Vigor was third with a mainly roach haul of 7.6.0, caught on the pole and caster.
Fifteen matchmen took part in the Benson Trophy.
Bill Davies took three good-sized chub for a winning 14.7.0, with Martin McDonald second with 10.8.0 of bits on the waggler with pole.
Dave Mitchell was third with 5.14.0 of bits.
Excellent conditions greeted the seven anglers for the Oxford Bus AS match on the River Cherwell.
First place, on peg 34, went to Pete Clarke, who had a mixed bag of roach and perch for a weight of 9.9.0.
Not far behind was Bob Heath, who landed a cracking tench of around three pounds, plus some roach and perch for 9.0.0.
Third place went to Mark Heath, who had a bag of roach and perch, plus a lot of bleak, for 8.14.0.
Plenty of fish were caught, but only roach were weighed in for Littlemore AS's new Roach Cup match.
Terry Woodward won the cup, alternating with the waggler and stick float, to put 6.3.0 on the scales.
Gerald Perks fished the waggler with caster for a second-placed 4.10.0.
In third, also fishing the waggler with caster, was Alan Campbell, with 4.8.0.
With a good flow on the Thames at Cassington, nine anglers contested the Yarnton & District Roach Cup.
Nick Collier won with 3.5.0 of roach, all caught on the pole with maggot.
In second place, also on the pole, was Scott Miller, who put 2.10.8 on the scales.
George Thomas was third fishing the waggler for a catch of 2.7.0.
Young Harry Oliver, who was fishing for the Junior Cup, finished fourth overall with 2.2.8.
Andy Benwell came close to a record as he weighed in a haul of 113lb 6oz of carp at the Dog Lane Fishery in Napton, Warwickshire.
Fishing from peg 52 on the car park bank, Benwell opted to use the pole down the margins with paste on the hook.
Terry Sanderson was second with 56.14.0 In third place was Dick Ashby – on peg 50 on the car park side of the lake – who caught steadily on the pellet waggler and weighed in 39. 0. 0.
Jason Bean landed a bag of roach caught on the waggler with tares on the hook in Kidlington AS's La Patisserie Cup, fished on the Thames at Medley.
Bean put 12.4.0 of roach on the scales, feeding hemp down the middle of the river.
In second place with a bag of roach weighing 7.14.0, was Alan Middleton, who fished waggler with maggot on the hook.
Henry Clarke was third with 5.15.0 of roach on the waggler, with maggot on hook.
