Newcomer Matthew Challen (+40) set Riley on their way with a 200-172 victory over Gordon Cook (+80), making a 31 break.
Allan Copelin (+90) made it 2-0 as he saw off Phil Westland (+100) 150-122, before Malcolm Bough (+70) thrashed Richard Connerty (+50) 150-70.
Ashton surprised Fieldside with a 2-1 victory.
Pete Fenn (+50) sent Ashton on their way when he beat Paul Robinson (-60) 200-178, despite breaks of 39, 37 and 27 from Robinson.
John Street (+70) made it 2-0 when he saw off Norman Woodcock (+70) 150-122.
Mike Chapman (+100) got a valuable point for Fieldside with a 200-157 victory over Terry Chambers (scratch).
Headington Con A thrashed Thame 3-0.
John Williams (+70) knocked in a 21 break on his way to a 200-178 win over Nigel Bossom (scratch), before Terry Walsh (-90) swept to a 150-113 win against Tom Fletcher (+80).
Doug Howse (+30) completed victory with a 200-160 success over Peter Hawkes.
New Club edged to a 2-1 win at Cowley Con A.
Justin Shepherd was in top form, hitting a 36 break in his 200-110 demolition of Keith Pearce, while Dick Hashman made breaks of 32, 31, 27 and 21 in his 200-183 victory over Alan Mander.
