Witney coach John Campbell was understandably frustrated after his side's second successive home defeat.
Campbell said: "We gave them two soft tries and wasted four kicks and three tries.
"We played enough rugby to win, and I felt we were the only team playing rugby.
"I don't know why they didn't kick that penalty in front of the posts. There was still at least three minutes to go after that.
"We have got some good young backs playing well, but we have got to be more clinical with the final pass.
"We were trying to score every time we had the ball rather building it up.
"We are missing a proper scrum half and key players in the back row, but those who have come in have done well.
"I was quite happy with the way they played, but not the execution.
"On other days we will get away with it."
