A much-changed Oxford Harlequins side were beaten 55-7 at South West 1 leaders Redingensians.

Quins' sprit remained good despite the score, although both teams returned from the field to find their changing rooms had been burgled.

The visitors repelled the initial onslaught before Redingensians' full back Jevon Marsh opened the scoring on 15 minutes.

Quins then conceded three tries in a nine-minutes burst with Griffydd Davis, Joao Costa and Jeremy Flynn notching and Peter Freeth converting the latter.

Marsh crossed for a second time before the break.

Quins reshuffled their backs and were spurred on by Ben Nicholl at No 8.

But the hosts marched on with Seb Reynolds and Costa scoring on 45 and 51 minutes with Freeth converting both.

Quins managed a spectacular try, which replacement Ralph Jones finished and Nick Sevier converted.

Tom Allen and Olly Randall completed Redingensians' try fest, Freeth converting both.
