Hyron Shallow has agreed to play for ambitious Cherwell League club Twyford next season.
The West Indian first-class batsman joins Twford from OCA side Tetsworth for whom he has been amassing runs at a spectacular rate.
Shallow, 26, who plays for the Windwards Islands, is set to join Twyford, near Bicester, as player-coach.
Twyford chairman Mike Roberts said: "Tetsworth are aware that the player is talking to us and we have agreed in principal that he will play for us next year.
"Until the guy puts his name on the form, then nothing is certain.
Last season Shallow scored an incredible 1,767 runs in the OCA at an average of 135.92. This included eight centuries and six 50s, and a highest score of 243 not out.
Twyford won Division 4 of the Oxford Times Cherwell League this season after securing the OCA Division 1 title in 2007.
