Abingdon United were given a lesson in finishing as they went down to defeat in Division 1 South & West.
Uxbridge took the lead when Dave Lawrence scored from close range on 13 minutes, following some neat football.
The hosts continued to have the edge, but were let down by a mixture of poor finishing and good defending kept them out.
Abingdon created few chances, but fine goalkeeping by Paul McCarthy and some desperate clearances maintained the Uxbridge lead.
The visitors thought they had levelled when Wayne Holden swept the ball into the net from five yards even with a defender on the line, only for the effort to be ruled off-side.
Abingdon striker Anaclet Odhiambo had a good opportunity, but stroked it wide.
For Uxbridge, Wayne Carter hit the far post.
After the break, Carter doubled his tally on 50 minutes.
Warrell denied Dave Thomas, before David Warner fired over.
Micheas Herbert beat the keeper, only for his shot to hit an upright.
Late on, Johnnie Dyer struck an Abingdon post in stoppage time.
