Ian Wills has become the third Oxford trainer this year to incur the wrath of the NGRC stewards following cases against Michael Peterson and Paddy Curtin.
Wills was fined £750 and severely reprimanded at a recent NGRC inquiry.
He was found guilty of failing to take proper care of the greyhound Time Venture at Oxford on January 13.
The hearing found that "he also acted in a manner prejudicial to the integrity, proper conduct or good reputation of NGRC greyhound racing by failing to comply with the written directions of a veterinary surgeon on a transport certificate issued in respect of the injured greyhound."
The stewards took account of Wills's clean record and excellent references.
