Wheatley chairman Steve Kemp has urged his players to keep battling after a very difficult start to the BB&O Premier Division season.
A 74-5 defeat at Broadmoor Staff on the opening day was followed by a 103-5 mauling at home to Drifters last Saturday.
Kemp told his players: "This was a tough league last year and will be no different this year, so you had a tough Saturday, well done for sticking at it.
"We knew we could not field our strongest side and as a club we put a team on the park, which in my opinion was the most courageous thing we could do.
"Other teams would not have done this and would have lost four instead of two points.
"This type of game will challenge our convictions as a team and it would be easy to give in."
Kemp added: "To move forward, we get back up as a team and as a club.
"For me this Saturday, away to Gosford, is a great opportunity to give the performance that as a team we are capable of achieving."
