Abingdon Utd 3 (Odhiambo 44, 85, Organ 66)
AFC Hayes 1 (Clark 40)
Anaclet Odhiambo struck twice as Abingdon United gained their first win since the opening day of the season in Division 1 South & West.
Hayes opened the scoring five minutes before half-time when Abingdon lost possession and Dean Clark took full advantage.
But Abingdon were level before the break, Micheas Herbert sliced the defence open with a precise pass for Odhiambo to lift the ball over the onrushing keeper.
Abingdon went ahead in the 66th minute. James Organ, on his 250th appearance, smash the ball home at the far post after Odhiambo had let Tom Austin's corner through his legs at the near post.
Odhiambo sealed victory with his second and Abingdon's third – a sublime chip over the head of Josh Lennie and into the top corner.
