Cholsey, who were pipped to the 2007 title by Banbury, gained revenge by wrapping up first place in Men's Division 1 of the 3-Pair League with a resounding 7.5-1.5 victory at third-placed Thame.
Paul Butcher and Hafeez Hameed dropped just ten games in their six successful sets, while Jon Merrifield and Richard May lost just one set, on a tie-break.
It means Cholsey finished two points clear of runners-up Banbury this time.
Meanwhile, Oxford Sports have claimed runners-up spot behind champions North Oxford A in Ladies Division 1, thanks to their 6.5-2.5 win at Wychwood.
Cressida Henderson and Jane Westell remained unbeaten, while Suki Good and Gill Pearson claimed 2.5 points for Sports, despite twice losing the first set.
Oxford City, last year's champions, managed a battling 5-4 win at Woodstock to finish in third place.
City's Barbara Gibbons and Esther Symmonds won their three matches, and Jo Love and Louisa Kent two.
GORING A and Esporta A clinched promotion from Mixed Division 2 of the 2-Pair League after away victories this week.
Goring raced away to a comfortable 4-0 win in their "local derby" at third-placed Blew- bury.
Esporta triumphed 2.5-1.5 at Norham Gardens A, with Phil Waller and Lynda Sutton unbeaten. They are on the same number of points, and just three rubbers behind leaders Goring in the race for the title.
Watlington's 3-1 win over Banbury in the battle of the two Ladies Division 2 strugglers has left Banbury relegated. Watlington must wait for other results before knowing their fate.
