Abingdon Ambler Duncan Talbot won three medals at the UK Civil Service Veterans Championships at Battersea Park, London.
Talbot cleared 1.55m in the high jump to win silver, and also finished second in the javelin with a throw of 27.91m.
Talbot added a bronze in the shot, throwing 6.96m.
- ADRIAN Watts and Richard Mulvany smashed their personal bests in the Chippenham Half Marathon.
They both finished in 1hr 25mins 37secs – the first time either runner had clocked below 1hr 30mins.
- THE Woodstock 12 road race, set to be held in Blenheim Park on Saturday, has had to be cancelled due to waterlogging in the car parks and access areas.
All entrants will be offered a full refund of their entry fees.
