Richard Turner's last-gasp try gave Wallingford an impressive 25-21 victory at Henley Wanderers in their first game in South West 2 East.
Wallingford trailed 21-3 at half-time, but fought back superbly as their front five became more and more dominant.
The visitors suffered a major setback after two minutes on the clock when prop Ed Jenkins left the field after dislocating a thumb.
This led to a reshuffle in the pack with lock David Keable moving in to prop, and replacement Shaun Bailey going in to the second row.
Wanderers went ahead with a tenth-minute penalty and did the same on 25 minutes.
Two tries, one converted, put the hosts, plus a further penalty put the hosts 21-0 up on 35 minutes.
Jackson Sayce started the comeback with a penalty before the break.
After twice coming close to scoring in the second half, the visitors got their reward when a tapped penalty saw giant lock Mike Turner crash over for a try converted by Sayce.
A further Sayce penalty cut the lead to only eight points, while the home side were allowing more and more errors to creep into their game.
Wallingford's confidence kept growing especially when No 8 Ian Jeffreys crashed over after 70 minutes and Sayce converted.
Sayce missed a tricky penalty, but Richard Turner was first to hooker Tom Hill's chip kick to complete the Wallingford revival.
