Witney produced the perfect response to their midweek mauling at the hands of Chalfont Wasps as they brushed Reading Town aside in the Premier Division.
It was clear Witney wanted to raise their game, and with just 13 minutes gone, they took the lead.
Ben Thompson was tripped in the box, and Gary Wickens slotted home the spot-kick.
Witney had another penalty claim turned down moments later, and it was one-way traffic as Thompson released Wickens, who saw his shot well saved by the Reading keeper Scott Hodgetts.
Richard Peirson doubled the lead when he fired home an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net, then before half-time, Thompson made it 3-0 as he struck home Peirson's flick-on.
Seven minutes after the break, Witney got a fourth as Wickens's cushioned header set up Thompson to slot into the corner.
Witney had two goals chalked off as first Thompson was adjudged off-side, then was denied again when he controlled a long ball with an arm.
Thompson again went close to his hat-trick he his cheeky toe-poke from Jimmy Griffin's pass went just wide, and there was still time for Vinny Byfield to try his luck from distance, but Hodgetts held on.
Milton Utd 3 (Hartley 20 pen, 80, Kenny 90)

Milton's improved form continued as they brushed aside Pegasus at The Heights.
They went in front when a Pegasus defender handled in the box and Garry Hartley slotted home the spot-kick.
Paddy Malone almost doubled the lead 12 minutes after the break, before Pegasus's Tom Davies was sent off when he took out Adam Bailey on the edge of the box.
Hartley scored from the resulting free-kick, and then Simon Kenny rounded things off with Milton's third goal in the dying moments.

Carterton 2 (Bostock 8, Rodgers 41)
Hooky paid for another lacklustre performance as they lost at home to Carterton.
The visitors went in front when Dave Bostock was presented with a simple tap-in.
The home side hit back when Ricky Johnson's initial shot rebounded to Joe Coleman.
He returned the ball to Johnson, who made no mistake second time.
Four minutes before the break, Carterton went back in front when a corner eluded Matthew Dixon in the Hooky goal and Dave Rodgers volleyed home.
In the second half, Carterton comfortably held on to their lead, with skipper Jamie Stalker in influential form at the back.
Kidlington 2 (Williams 21, 89)
Wantage Tn 3 (Keen 11, Learoyd 46, Day 48)
Kidlington lost their unbeaten record against Wantage at Yarnton Road.
The visitors drew first blood when Matty Horsell's cross picked out Danny Keen, who swept a shot across Gareth Tucker into the net.
Danny Wise went close to levelling in the 19th minute, before Morgan Williams's rasping shot squirmed through the hands of Wantage keeper Rob Durrant to equalise.
The second half started brightly for Wantage, who quickly found themselves 3-1 up.
First Adam Learoyd fired home a ferocious volley, giving Tucker no chance, and worse was to follow as a defensive error allowed Tom Malton's cross to reach Paul Day, who headed home.
Kidlington were all at sea for a while, but they managed to sneak a goal back in the dying minutes when Williams rounded Durrant and then rolled the ball into an unguarded net.
Deep into stoppage time, Mark Baker drilled an effort just over the bar, and Wantage held on for the points.
