Midlands 3 East South
Banbury Bulls believe they can bounce straight back to Midlands 2 after last season's disappointment.
That is the view of coach Grant Holmes, whose side won just three league games last season.
Holmes said: "The side are determined to put last year's dismal season behind them and look to get back into a winning habit.
"The players are eager to earn a second chance in Midlands 2.
"With the right attitude and preparation, they believe they can produce a much-improved effort, therefore the team have aspirations of a top two finish."
New captain Simon Brand is expected to be a force at No 8, alongside livewire flanker Sean Bannister.
Holmes is tipping centre John Preston to shine after an impressive debut season, while former colt Jed Boyle is said to have "express pace".
