OXFORD City made it three wins from three on the road with a late 2-0 victory at ten-man Hereford.

Tom Scott saw a couple of efforts from range go close, forcing a save out of Aaron Chapman, while his second flashed wide of the post.

As the game approached half-time, former Banbury United midfielder Alex Babos was shown a second yellow card.

Having already been booked for taking down Zac McEachran on the counter-attack, Babos picked up his second yellow for a clumsy challenge on Josh Parker.

Scott rattled the crossbar from Parker’s cutback in the second half, while Josh Ashby and Reece Fleet also went close.

At the other end, Kai McKenzie-Lyle had to make a smart stop to deny Cosmos Matwasa.

With two minutes to go, Ashby squirmed through on goal and sent Lewis Coyle’s pass into the corner of the net.

The Hoops wrapped up the points from a clinical counter-attack, as Alfie Potter broke from a Bulls corner and unselfishly found Parker, who slammed home.
