MARK Harris has been named in the Wales squad for UEFA Nations League fixtures against Iceland and Montenegro this month.

The Oxford United striker was recalled to the Wales squad last month for the first time since the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, when he was unused.

Harris came on for the final 10 minutes as Wales won 2-1 in Montenegro in a Nations League fixture last month, after being an unused substitute for a 0-0 draw with Turkey in Craig Bellamy’s first game as head coach.

Bellamy was at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday to watch United’s goalless draw against Burnley. Clarets right back Connor Roberts is also included in the latest Wales squad, but was injured for the game against the U’s.

Harris has scored four goals in eight Sky Bet Championship matches so far this campaign, and scooped the division’s player of the month award for August.

Wales head to Iceland on October 11, before welcoming Montenegro three days later.
