WITH just two weeks of the season to go, all sections are still up for grabs, writes Andy Beal.
However, for the first time that I can remember we had no sixes, and the highest score was 12.
Premier leaders The White House remain two points clear after defeating Section One leaders Littlemore British Legion 3-0.
White House set and won the opening leg 28-25, then chasing a set of 21 in the second leg, sneaked past it with 23 to go two up.
The final leg was tied 25-25 with White House winning it on three-sticks with a set of 13. This defeat still leaves the Legion needing one more point to claim the Section One title.

The Gladiators are pushing all the way with a comfortable 3-0 win at home to The Swan. They won the first two legs 25-20, 26-20 and the final leg 24-22.
Catherine Wheel ‘A’ kept their faint hopes of the Section One title alive with a 2-1 win at North Leigh FC. Chasing the first two legs, The Wheel won them both 24-19, 22-18, however they couldn’t quite make it a maximum win, losing the final leg by the smallest of margins 19-20.
Section Two leaders Catherine Wheel ‘C’ dropped a vital point away at Queens Head. Chasing all three legs, they won the opener 21-16, but chasing a set of only 16 in the next leg, they collapsed to finish with only 11 in return.
In the final and deciding leg, Queens set with 18 which was not enough as Catherine Wheel upped their game and hit 20 in reply to claim the win. Josh Breakspear top-scored with a dozen dolls (5-2-5).

Second-placed Masons Arms ‘A’ also dropped an important point away at The Seacourt Bridge, and it could easily have been more.
The opening leg was tied 14-14 with Seacourt winning it on three-sticks 8-5. Masons set and levelled in the next leg 22-17. The final leg was also tied, 17-17, however this time Masons won the three-sticker 7-5 to give them the win.
The Ampleforth Arms are ready to pounce if the top two collapse after their 3-0 home win over Bletchington Sports. They won all three legs 18-14, 19-12, 16-12.
Six Bells ‘C’ still top Section Three by two points despite losing a leg at home to Northway Club ‘B’.
They easily won the first two legs 19-12, 16-9 and then set 12 in the final leg. In reply, Northway doubled their score in the second leg to hit 18 and take a consolation point.
