OXFORD United made a sensational start to life in Sky Bet Championship, with a 2-0 win at home against Norwich City.
The U’s were in control from pretty much the first minute, as their aggressive press regularly turned possession over in dangerous areas.
United had the first sniff of goal, when Cameron Brannagan won the ball with a brilliant tackle, and set Mark Harris off down the left.
The striker then found debutant Przemyslaw Placheta, playing against his former side, and the Poland international was denied at the near post by Angus Gunn.

The opening goal came just before half an hour had been played, as Ciaron Brown sent a long ball down the left channel, searching for Harris.
Canaries captain Grant Hanley was put under pressure and slipped, allowing Harris to get in on goal, and the Welshman squeezed the ball through the legs of Gunn.
Will Vaulks then had a couple of efforts from distance, but both were directed narrowly wide.
The U’s doubled their lead just before the hour mark, as Sam Long’s driven cross was expertly finished first-time by Brannagan just inside the penalty area.
