Thame United will begin their 2024/2025 Central Division One Southern League campaign with a trip to Ware, who reached the play-offs last season.

The Southern League has announced the fixtures for Central Division One, with Thame's season starting on August 10.

The Oxfordshire side's first home match will come shortly after against Berkhamsted on August 13.

There will be a break in the league schedule on August 17 for the FA Cup Preliminary Round. If Thame beat Aylesbury on August 3, they will face Beaconsfield.

On August 24, United's planned match against Enfield will be postponed as the team faces either South Park Reigate or Stayning Town Community from Worthing in the FA Trophy.

League action will resume with a home game on August Bank Holiday against Kidlington, with the sides also set to meet on January 1, 2025.

Other notable dates include the team's home fixture against Aylesbury on November 23, and the reverse fixture on March 8.

Four midweek matches are scheduled, including a trip to Flackwell Heath on October 1, North Leigh on October 22, and a home game versus AFC Dunstable on October 29.

Thame's league campaign will conclude with an away tie against Leighton Town on April 5, followed by three games against newly promoted sides.

They will travel to Livestock Green on April 12 before hosting Flackwell on April 19 and finishing the season with another home game against Real Bedford on April 26.

United finished 18th in the table last season, winning just 11 league games. They lost 21 as they struggled for form throughout the campaign.

They enjoyed a 3-2 over Milton United in a pre-season friendly on July 6, followed by a 1-1 draw against Risborough Rangers on July 9 and wins against Winslow United and Aylesbury Vale Dynamos and a draw against MK Irish.
