OXFORD United will decide over the coming days whether to keep Ovie Ejaria on trial with the club going into next week.
The 26-year-old has been training with the U’s this week, and played the first hour of the pre-season win at Oxford City, but was unused for this afternoon’s victory at Solihull Moors.
Ejaria, who can play out wide and in an attacking midfield role, has been without a club since leaving Reading by mutual consent in December.

United head coach Des Buckingham said: “He came in at the start of the week and trained with us, and we said that we’d have a look.
“We’re a little light in the wide areas at the moment. We said we’d have a look in the games and go from there, and that’s as far as we’ve got at the moment.”
Asked whether Ejaria’s trial will continue into next week, Buckingham responded: “It’s not a conversation we’ve had yet, but we’ll review the games and have a chat with the player, and go from there.”
Ejaria came through the academy at Liverpool, playing eight first team games, including two substitute appearances in the Premier League.
While with the Reds, he had loan spells with Sunderland, Rangers, and two temporary stints at Reading.
He then joined the Royals for a reported £3.5 million in August 2020, going on to play a further 72 games prior to his departure last year.
